Created with the stock from the libraries of the Faculty of Dentistry, the School of Nursing and the Bellvitge Hospital which handed over their collections according to an agreement signed between the Institut Català de la Salut (Catalan Institute of Health) and the University of Barcelona in 1993. It offers support to the studies of Nursing, Medicine, Dentistry, Podiatry and the specialities of Midwifery and Mental Health Nursing.
