The Library of Business Studies was created at the end of 1961 with the stock from the Escola d’Alts Estudis Mercantils (School of Mercantile Studies), the old Escola Superior de Comerç (School of Trade). In 1971 the School was incorporated into the University of Barcelona and in 1991 was the present library inaugurated, and has been continuously adapted and updated with new spaces and equipment to offer a better service.
At present the Library collection gives support to teaching and research for BA in Business Studies and International Business, and Masters and Postgraduate courses in this subject.
